Wedding Photos


Package fee + hourly rate + ss + tax +travel


Package fee $500

  • $100 client gifts (champagne/prints/coffee/etc)
  • $100 business expenses (pixieset/adobe/etc)
  • $100 gear expenses (hard drive/SD cards/upgrades)

Hourly rate

  • PAY MYSELF $250/hour
  • need to add about 25% to my hourly rate to accommodate for sales tax
  • =$325/hour (this is what the client sees)

Second shooter

  • $75/hour (pay the second accordingly and I get the rest)

Travel

  • up to 100km included in booking (about an hour round trip of travel is included)
  • above that charge the CRA km price
  • accommodations clients expense

Other fees

  • holidays (Christmas Eve, NYE) $500
  • loss of event date due to traveling for someone else's wedding $100/day (applies to Fri, Sat, Sun)

DEPOSIT IS 35% (this includes 15% tax + 25%sales tax

  • the entire 35% must go into my tax savings account where it will stay for tax season.
  • when the client pays the reminder I won't need to pay any into tax account. I'll just subtract my actual weddings and business expenses from it.
